1. Are you insured?

Yes!

2. How much does it cost to get my windows cleaned?

It varies upon how many windows you have, if ladders are needed, difficulty of cleaning the window, etc.
That’s why S1S gives customized estimates: because each person’s house / office / building is different.

3. How long does it take to clean my windows?

It varies, based on how many windows you have & how easy it is to access windows on each floor.
An entire house for interior and exterior is usually done within 4.5 hours (< 3 hr's for smaller homes, add 1.5 hours for huge homes / large commercial properties).

4. Do I have to be home when you clean windows?

First-time clients: Yes, we prefer you do.
Regular clients: If you trust us to do your windows, then you don’t have to be home.
If we’re doing just exterior window cleaning, you don’t have to be home at all.

5. What if it rains on the day of my exterior window cleaning?

We clean windows in any weather condition except lightning / related wind storms due to safety.
If it’s raining, we still clean the windows. Rain & water don’t create streaks---it’s dirt & grime that create streaks, & that’s unrelated to the rain. If there is a severe weather storm (+50mph winds), we will reschedule your exterior window cleaning for within the next 7 days.

6. Do I need to do anything before you arrive?

Please make sure there’s a clear path to the windows inside your home.

7. How often should I clean my windows?

Residential: recommend a minimum of 2 cleans per year.
If you have many trees or live in a dusty area, we recommend 3-4x a year.
Commercial: recommend bi-weekly (every 2 weeks) or monthly window cleaning (12 times a year).

8. How long will the windows stay clean after you clean them?

Usually your windows stay clean for around 60 days. Many variables can affect this: dust, any nearby construction / home projects, severe weather windstorms, pollution, trees, etc.

9. Can you clean windows in Winter?

Yes! We clean windows year-round.

10. Do you clean hard water spots?

Yes, with a special solution.
